A young man, whose name is yet to be ascertained but believed to be a student of a university in Anambra State has allegedly killed his father and mother.
Reports say the incident, which happened in the industrial town of Nnewi, was discovered by neighbours who started perceiving an offensive smell, before discovering the bodies of the man and his wife.
The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, said Friday in a statement that the State Command has launched a manhunt for the man.

“He has ordered immediate manhunt of the suspect. He further directs immediate transfer of the case to State Criminal investigation department for discreet investigation.”
