As Nigerians prepare to vote during Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday, the ruling All Progressives Party, APC, has released the timetable for the Bayelsa, Kogi and Imo governorship primaries for the elections scheduled for next year.

The tenures of the current governors of Imo, Kogi, and Bayelsa states will expire on January 14, 26, and February 13, 2024, respectively.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed November 11, 2023, as election day in the three states.

In preparation for the elections, the APC announced that nomination form for the position will be N50m.

In a notice on Friday, APC’s National Organising, Secretary Sulaiman Argungu, indicated that delegate forms would be sold between January 30 and February 1, 2023.
