The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has approved the appointment of 15 Special Assistants on Security and one on New Media to help protect the state against the renewed onslaught of gunmen and other criminal elements operating in the state recently.
In a Public Service announcement by his Chief Press Secretary Dr Monday Uzor, the governor selected the following Persons as Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants:

Felix Okemini – SSA Security, Izzi LGA
Sunday Ogbonna – SA Security, Abakaliki LGA
Mbam Emmanuel Obinna – SA, Internal Security, Ebonyi LGA
Ogbonna Tobias – SA, Internal Security, Ohaukwu
Chukwuemeka Nwokpo – SA, Internal Security South
Godwin Okum – SA, Internal Security Ezza North
Desmond Edeke – SA, Internal Security Ikwo LGA
