The Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Ebonyi State chapter has urged National Assembly (NASS) members from the state to make the people proud by being shining examples at the Assembly.
The State President of the Igbo apex socio-cultural organisation, Dr Peter Mbam gave the advice in a statement he personally signed and made available in Abakaliki.
Mbam urged the NASS members to use the spirit of hard work which Ebonyi people are known with, to excel in their endeavours.
“You are men of integrity and honour which assures the state of credible representation at both chambers of the National Assembly.
“You should be assured of our total support as we expect you to stand tall in in the discharge of your duties.”
Mbam specially hailed the immediate past governor of the state, Chief David Umahi on his inauguration as a senator.
“Your outstanding leadership for eight years led to the accomplishment of great things in the state.”
