45 Ministerial Nominees Scale Through Senate Screening, Full List

The Nigerian Senate has completed the screening of Ministerial nominees sent to it by President Bola Tinubu, with the confirmation of 44 of the 48 nominations.

Three nominees, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Stella Okotete (Delta State), and Abubakar Danladi (Taraba State), are still undergoing security clearance.

The Senate confirmed the 45 at its session on Monday, August 7 following series of voice votes.

Below is the list of confirmed Ministers:

Abubakar Kyari (Borno); Abubakar Momoh (Edo); Nyesom Wike (Rivers); Joseph Utserv (Benue);
Senator John Owan Enoh (Cross River);
Bello Mohammad (Sokoto) and
Mohammed Badaru Abubakar (Jigawa).

Other are Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar (Bauchi); Uju Kennedy Ohaneye (Anambra); Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (Ondo); Nkieruka Onyejeocha (Abia); Betta Edu (Cross River State); and Imaan Sulieman Ibrahim (Nasarawa).

The list continues:

David Umahi (Ebonyi); Adebayo Olawale Edun (Ogun); Ahmed Musa Dangiwa (Katsina); Uche Geoffrey Nnaji (Enugu); Dele Alake (Ekiti) and Waheed Adebayo Adelabu (Oyo).

Also confirmed were:

Mohammed Idris (Niger); Prof Ali Pate (Bauchi); Doris Anite Uzoka (Imo); Lateef Fabemi SAN (Kwara); Ekperikpe Ekpo (Akwa Ibom); Hannatu Musawa (Katsina); Ibrahim Geidam (Yobe); Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi (Niger); Hieneken Lokpobiri (Bayelsa) and
Alkali Ahmed Saidu (Gombe)

Others are
Tanko Sununu (Kebbi); Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi); Bello Matawalle (Zamfara); Adegboyega Oyetola (Osun); Simon Bako Lalong (Plateau); Abdullahi Tijani Muhammad Gwarzo (Kano); Bosun Tijani (Ogun); Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure (Kano)
