Enugu State Commissioners Get Portfolios, Ace Broadcaster Heads The Information Ministry

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has assigned portfolios to the twenty Commissioners sworn into office on Thursday.

The new Commissioners are made up of seventeen men and three women.

Renowned broadcaster and former General Manager of Radio Nigeria, Voice FM, Nsukka, Aka Eze Aka was appointed Commissioner for Information.

Other appointments include Prof Ndubueze Mbah, Education;
Mrs Ngozi Enih, Children, Gender Affairs and Social Development; Prince Lawrence Ezeh, Lands and Urban Development; Patrick Nwabueze Ubro, Agriculture and Agro-Industrialization and Pharm. Chika Ugwoke, Labour and Employment.

Others are Dr Kingsley Udeh, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice;
Prof Emmanuel Obi, Health;
Deacon Okey Ogbodo, Local Government, Rural Development and Chieftaincy Affairs;
Dame Ugochi Madueke, Culture and Tourism; Barr. Lloyd Ekweremadu, Youth and Sports and Engr. Gerald Otiji, Works and Infrastructure.

The list further includes Nathaniel Uramah, Finance and Economic Development; Dr Malachy Agbo, Human Development and Poverty Eradication; Adaora Chukwu, Trade Investment and Industry;
Dr Martin Chinweike, Housing;
Obi Ozor, Transport; Prof Sam Ugwu, Environment and Climate Change; Sunday Emeka Ajogwu, Special Duties and Dr Felix Nnamani, Water Resources.

The Commissioners are expected to assume office on Monday.
