The Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Ebonyi state chapter has felicitated with the Chairmen of Local Government Areas in the state as they marked one year in office on Friday.
The state President of the Pan Igbo Socio-cultural organisation, Dr Peter Mbam made the felicitation in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Abakaliki.
Mbam said that the occasion was spiced with Governor Francis Nwifuru’s repositioning of the Councils with more people-oriented projects.
“Our interactions with you during sensitisation visits in your various Councils convinced us of your abilities to do more for the people.
“We firmly believe that you would continue collaborating with the governor to deliver democratic dividend to the people.
“This collaboration will ensure everlasting peace, promote primary health care, boost education and provide needed assistance to rural farmers across the state,”.
Mbam expressed the readiness of the group to sustain the partnership on reviving the state’s and Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.
“This is aimed at restoring our lost values.
“We wish you more proactive years of service”.
