NUJ Secretary, Manager News FRCN Receives Honorary Award

The Obosi Development Union (ODU) Enugu Branch Women Wing has honoured more than fifteen illustrious
Men and Women in recognition of their hardwork, commitment and humanitarian services.

The President of ODU , Professor Felicia Ononye said that the award and fund raising programme was also used to spur others to know that there is reward for every good work stressing that the Union painstakingly selected those to be honored including a Manager News FRCN Dame Ifeoma Amuta.

Dame Amuta who is also the Secretary of NUJ Enugu State Council, flanked by Friends and Colleagues was bestowed with the title “Ada di ora mma”

Other Award recipients including Mr Godwin Chidebe Belonwu and wife, represented by the Deputy Rector of IMT, Enugu, Dr Emeka Ejim and wife.

The Commissioner of Police Anambra and his Enugu counterpart, Represented by their PPROs , the former VC Reinansance University Ugbuawka, Professor Chike Onochie, a former President of the Union, Mrs Oge Mmaduegbuna as well as the Chairman of the Award Committee, Dr Mrs Nnenna Oraedu.

In an interview, manager News FRCN, Dame Ifeoma Amuta expressed joy over the award and recognition which she said would spur her to do more of humanity service and remain Good Ambassador.

Also speaking on the Occasion, the wife of the traditional ruler of Obosi, Ezenwanyi Kosiso Iweka who also received award of “Nne Udo” commended the organizers for their various moves to expand development in Obosi Community.

Our Correspondent reports that the Programme which attracted dignitaries including the Traditional Ruler of Obosi, Idemili North Local Government of Anambra State, Igwe Chidubem Iweka (Represented) and his cabinet.
