Charity Group Seeks Partnership And Inclusion With Abia State Government on Empowerment

The Abia State chapter of Royal Ambassadors Charity Home has indicated plans to partner with the State’s Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation on empowering women, youths and PWDs.

The decision was reached when the National Leadership and State Executive Working Team of Royal Ambassadors Charity Home, Abia State Chapter paid a Courtesy Visit to the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Abia State, Mrs Ngozi Blessing Felix, at her office in Umuahia, to solicit a good working relationship and partnership with the Ministry.

The CEO/Executive Director of Royal Ambassadors Charity Home, Amb Jonathan David Okwudiri, led the team of Executives for the courtesy Visit.

During his address, the Abia State Coordinator of RACH, Elder (Amb ) IROABUCHI ALOZIE ENYINNAYA requested from the  Commissioner for an inclusion and partnership with the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Abia State on the following areas of operations and activities:-
1. Financial grants to assist the organization to train and empower the youths and Women , Person’s with Disabilities and others with Special Needs for an Entrepreneur business.
2. Employment of teeming unemployed youths /women , young widows, Persons with Disabilities towards the Alleviation of Poverty as to improve their means of livelihood.
3. Full inclusion of Royal Ambassadors Charity Home in the Ministry Scheme of activities and programs especially the Federal/State Government Palliative packages .
4. Opportunity for Skills Acquisition Training and Financial Empowerment Scheme in the areas of Fish/Snail Farming, Poultry, Fashion Designing and Catering .

Furthermore, the Executive Director of Royal Ambassadors Charity Home, Amb Jonathan David Okwudiri appealed to the Honourable Commissioner to critically look through the Aims and Objectives of the organization as it connotes with all the activities and programs of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

He noted that the Organization cannot do without the Ministry since both have things in common regarding the activities.
In response, the  Commissioner thanked the Leadership of the organization for having found time to visit her in the office to familiarize the organization activities and programs with the Ministry and promised to always work with Royal Ambassadors Charity Home in Abia State.

She further appreciated the management of the NGO for making herself available to be used by God to assist the Government Agencies in the service of Humanity.
