NIGERIA BEGINS T20 WORLD CUP AFRICA QUALIFIER WITH A GAME AGAINST KENYA

Nigeria Men’s Cricket Team (Yellow Greens) will begin her quest for the World Cup appearance in the T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier with a game against Kenya. This was confirmed in a Circular, released by Mr. Kuben Pillay of the ICC Africa.

According to the Circular, Nigeria will play her first game on Thursday 23rd of November against Kenya by 10am at the United Pitch, Namibia.

The Yellow Greens will battle Rwanda on the Friday, same time, at the Wanderers Pitch.

Other fixtures include a game against Tanzania on Sunday afternoon and against Uganda on Monday. The game with Zimbabwe will be on Wednesday 29th of November while the final game of the Yellow Greens will be against the Host country, Namibia on Thursday.

Meanwhile, one of  Nigeria’s Top umpires, Kehinde Olanbiwonnu is appointed to be among the ten umpires selected to administer the game which starts on the 20th November and ends on the 30th November 2023.
